Council Groves Apartments is a low-income housing community with one, two, three and four bedroom units. We provide high-quality housing and offer residents membership in the Council Groves community through events and classes in our Community Room and Computer Lab. The Computer Lab has been completely updated through a generous grant from the HDR Foundation. The Lab supports residents’ educational and professional goals. In the summer months, we partner with Missoula Food Bank as a host site to deliver free Kids Table lunches for resident and neighborhood children. 

Council Groves Apartments is a project-based section 8 apartment complex and 501(C)(3) nonprofit, under professional management by Tamarack Property Management Co. We house by date of application, screen for income eligibility, and for criminal and credit history. All adult applicants must provide a complete housing history for the past three years.  Average time spent on Council Groves' waiting list for two, three, and four-bedroom units is currently one to three years.


Council Groves has earned National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) recognition as a Community of Quality.
